Out Of The Box

Dabbling in the world of product design, it was a challenge to work with the core design and marketing teams to bring back memories of the original Jawa motorycle, a vintage classic, loved by many for it’s unique visual styling and rugged appeal. The Jawa was being re- imagined to fit into today’s contemporary lifestyle. Visits to the factory and understanding the motorbike, the passion, the rider and it’s most loved features was an essential foundation to the process. Thereafter, the thoughts progressed to include small ideas connecting vintage memories and touchpoints to the upgraded Jawa and communicating the same in colours, textures and metallic embellishments to the logo forming a new vocabulary for the iconic Jawa.
