THE TEA HOUSE
Home

An old family bungalow, tucked away on a tea plantation in the Nilgiris, was converted into a contemporary luxury villa. The roof of the bungalow was restructured to accommodate a master suite and an adjoining balcony overlooking the blue mountains. The ground floor patio was extended into a black and white, granite and marble checkered floor. Each room was given its own identity, with carefully curated furniture, colours and fabrics to complement the spectacular surroundings. Whimsical chandeliers, vintage finds from a local antique market and fresh flowers from the estate gardens, bring the joys of country living into this newly refurbished home.
