High above a bustling neighbourhood in midtown Mumbai, in one of the tallest residential buildings in the world, a home comes together with a unique fusion of styles. Carefully selected marble locally sourced from Jaipur, coupled with modern Italian furniture give this home a distinctive sophistication. Hand-painted frescoes of the ancient holy town of Varanasi adorn screen doors that lead to a quiet prayer room. An extensive personal collection of Swarovski crystal birds, animals and figurines meld into an installation art piece at the entrance of the home. An assortment of custom designed carpets and curved furniture with distinctive colour palettes follow the language of the tall circular structure of the building.
